Jodhpur National University – A Quick Glance

In the beautiful lap of Nature is situated one of the glory of Jodhpur City, Jodhpur National University. Jodhpur National University is the first private university of Western Rajasthan. It is located in the main suburb of Jodhpur City.

Jodhpur National University was founded in the year 1998 by CA Kamal Mehta. He was a man of bank and finance. The university was inaugurated by Ashok Gehlot, the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The University emerged as a new sunshine to the prevailing education system. Rigorous efforts were made to bring drastic changes to the existing system. Mr. Mehta had a firm view that mere education of Academics cannot give enough space to grow and achieve great in life. Academics should be combined with ethical, professional and technical learning. He knew that additional multiskills are required for the well- being of society, mankind as well as individual.

The University got its affiliation from different educational sectors. Such as – UGC, DEC, AICTE, DCI, BCI, PCI, etc.

The University also provides Distance Education program in its curriculum. It has a wide scope for its learners. It has a wide curriculum related to different aspects as- Management, Technology, Dental Law, Pharmacy, Law, Applied Science, Computer Application, arts , Education, etc. There are many diploma and certification courses available at their end.
